Debt Management

A Debt Management Plan (DMP) enables you to make repayments to your creditors over a number of years. Payments continue to be made until the debts are repaid in full. Usually, repayments are based on what you can afford after a detailed income and expenditure has been calculated.

Although Bridgestones does not offer a debt management service, we work closely with a trusted debt management company by the name of Zebra Money Management, based in Oldham.  We are happy to liaise with them on your behalf, if debt management is a route you would like to take.

By acting as an intermediary between the debtor (you) and the creditor, Zebra Money Management can help you make sense of the complexities of personal debt by providing a personal service of debt assistance, tailored to an your exact requirements.

Zebra Money Management will then negotiate reduced payments with your creditors, on your behalf and in many cases an immediate cessation of interest and charges.  Although creditors are not obliged to cease these charges, we find that with Zebra Money Management Limited heading your Debt Management Plan they often do.

All you have to do is set up a standing order, which Zebra Money Management will distribute to your creditors on a ‘pro-rata’, or priority basis after deduction of their monthly fee.

If you are unable to qualify for an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA), loan, or are unable to release any equity in your property, a debt management plan could be the ideal solution.
